Random thoughts...

i've been wondering what the XP in Windows XP stands for. why not search for it in google? and so i did. one site says it means nothing. another says it stands for eXPerience. in other words, there are no satisfactory answers for my question.

i however, have an idea. in greek you see, the letter X stands for chi and P for rho. those of you who are familiar with statistics would certainly confirm this.

the combination of the greek letters XP is actually a popular monogram in christian epigraphy. the chi-rho stands for the first two letters for the greek word for christ, an english word which also derives its etymology from greek.

could perhaps microsoft inadvertently have introduced christian symbolism into their product? could've one of their marketing people arranged for it secretly?

interesting huh?
