the abs-cbn foundation has a project that seeks to "save" the la mesa dam's forest from total destruction.
if you first look at it, the project seems noble and very interesting, but take note of who will eventually benefit from the program, business-wise: maynilad. and who owns maynilad?
yes, it looks like the lopezes and their people have come up with a way of "fixing" many of the damaged goods they inherited from mwss without spending too much. why should they spend billions, in other words, if they could let us "help" them financially, right?
this business strategy ought to be studied and included in business management textbooks.
