Fried chicken

if you have taken the MRT lately, you may have caught a glimpse of the latest billboard from max's restaurant along EDSA. it features local heartthrob piolo pascual holding a chicken's wish bone whilst staring (or should i say contemplating?) at it intently.

questions:
1) do wish bones come as white as the one he's holding? it looks bleached, as if fresh from the laboratory. has any of you taken out a chicken's wish bone and found it as white as piolo's? his carries no trace of the various tendons and veins that you would expect from a newly devoured bird.

2) who finds wish bones romantic, or at least arousing deep, intense memories of romances gone by? why not chicken legs (adidas) or their guts? would the wish bone be as "romantic" and "evocative" if it weren't as white as it is, as i have pointed out above?

3) am i the only one who finds the ad a bit amusing?

i think this ad is max's response to a similar ad released by KFC. i, however, prefer kfc's ad. i was moved by it, especially the long version presented in myx. i felt all mushy inside... hehehe... i never knew fried chicken could be so romantic.
