"Having fewer children and not breastfeeding have both been shown to increase the risk of breast cancer."
this might be a great and practical way of avoiding it, but one could never discount the difficulties of achieving financial stability in our country these days. planning for a large family will involve greater personal sacrifices from each parent as well.
on a larger scale, however, our society is beginning to make having large families difficult. every sector of the philippine intelligentsia, as often, blindly follows the western trends and makes every effort to promote an "anti-children" policy among couples and families. just see how this same policy has managed to obliterate the population in europe. i must confess that i am inclined to such views myself, but i've felt that the neo-malthusian view of the our population and economics has been overplayed and exaggerated, especially by our clueless media.
