Muslims are the real victims

muslims are not the enemy, non-muslims are the perpetrators of all the violence.

yes, i have come understand what verlaine is saying about the terrible suffering of a multitude of muslims throughout the world under violent, despotic rulers. yes, muslims are an oppressed people. i was merely keeping my eyes shut to that obvious and shocking reality. enlightened by that article, my prejudices have diminished, and my compassion for the muslim oppressed has grown a hundred fold!

oh how i wish to do justice to those i have wronged. i wish i could take back all that i blindly utterred in my ignorance. yet, it is easy, all i need is to delete my posts, but i would rather let my readers see the wonderful conversion i had. so in lieu of deleting them, i have instead compiled below some sample news about the oppression muslims around the world.

now that we've discovered our own faults, we must, therefore, never let our prejudiced ignorance blind us again. let us realize that the desperate acts of muslims who do violence are simply caused by the intolerant, arrogant and imperialistic ways of the west which has robbed the muslim world of its dignity. we must ask for their forgiveness and mend our ways so that the violence will stop.
