A calamity on the way?

I've noticed that significant seismic activity has been recorded throughout various parts of the Philippines in the last few days, in particular:

• December 24 (Magnitude 3.3 in Leyte)
• December 27 (Magnitude 3.1 in Pangasinan)
• December 28 (a pre-dawn Magnitude 5.4 in Surigao del Norte and in the afternoon, a Magnitude 4.8 in Northern Luzon)
• December 29 (a Magnitude 5 in the Bicol-Laguna area).
  
  

Are these quakes precursors to something bigger that might hit the Philippines? I hope not.
