Vicious cycle

the LRT and MRT want to increase their fares. i object since experience has taught me to scoff at their claims of improving and satisfactory service. case in point: power failure at one of their lines. on the other hand, however, they claim that can't really make improvements until they get more money. i know how that could mean, i've been there. but they're bigger than i am, they should be able to source their funds elsewhere without resorting to burdening cashless commuters like me.

i feel hostaged by these people.
