the opposition claims that it has been cheated and that the recent polls have been marred with numerous instances of fraud. i wasn't surprised with their reaction to their own performance and shortcomings. as noted by the article i posted yesterday, these people are only united by their common hatred of president gloria arroyo and nothing more. once you take away this primary unifying factor, they all go back fighting for their own piece of the action. i'm happy that they didn't do well in the polls, and i honestly hope that their canditates, especially FPJ and LACSON both lose, once the counting is done and the victor clearly determined. i'm sure that they couldn't have been a force for good anyway. they've only proven that they're selfish, arrogant and incapable of playing as a team. are these the men that ought to run the government? in clear contrast to the current administration, these guys need to think of working for the people rather for themselves, as they want us to believe.
speaking of the opposition, i'm totally surprised by performance of JAMBY MADRIGAL in the polls. i mean, who is she? i've heard that she's a scion of some old rich family and a descendant of one of great statesman whose name escapes me since he was popular in his day and not ours. i know for one that she had JUDY ANN SANTOS to campaign for her (for those overseas reading this blog, judy ann santos is a local film and tv celebrity popular with the masses). could judy ann's appeal have actually rubbed off to jamby? wow! i really find hard to believe this. so if anyone needs to do some explaining about the *fraud* in the election, then that would be the opposition. how did they manage to get madrigal the votes? this is a peculiar in this election.
yes, you get it, i don't really think highly of madrigal. but perhaps i shouldn't be judging her to much, it would be totally stupid of me to dismiss her outrightly without considering that she may perhaps been lucky enough to strike gold with judy ann santos. help me with my unbelief people... the comment box awaits ye...
